Bookmarks Vegetal Decoration

Vegetal decoration based on Acanthus Leaves

These bookmarks are based on the ravishing Mediterranean acanthus leaves. This foliage ornament was firstly used by the Greeks, then continued by the Romans and, from the Ancient World, was adopted by the Medieval artists. Here,  each bookmark is different since I draw the strokes of the curling acanthus by improvising  constantly.
